Rules

  1. Teams build products during the hackathon from scratch - whether they be websites, mobile apps, or games.
  2. Teams can build whatever they want, but their products must be education-related in order to be considered for prizes.
  3. There will be judging on day 2, in which judges will listen to product pitches, filling out a scoring sheet that will be used to determine prizes.
  4. Teams can choose whether to present publicly or not to present.
  5. Maximum of 5 people per team.

FAQ

Q: What meals are served?

A: Breakfast and lunch for both days. If you have allergies, it’s recommended to bring your own meals.

Q: How are teams formed?

A: We’ll set teams up officially on the day of! You can also set up your teams outside of the event.

Q: Are there resources available during the hackathon to help me learn?

A: Yes! There will be mentors on hand at the event!

Q: Is it overnight?

A: No, but you are free to work on the project at home between the two event days.

Q: What is the criteria for judging?

A: Idea and concept, technical progress made during the competition, code quality, feasibility, creativity, technical complexity, and presentation.
